AMERICAN CLOTH CHARACTER DOLL BY BING ART IN ORIGINAL COSTUME
14″ (36 cm.) All-cloth doll with swivel head, firmly-pressed and oil-painted hair and facial features, well-defined brown forelock curl, painted brown shaded eyes, white eyedots, brown upper eyeliner, short stroke brows, closed mouth, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (Bing stamp on foot). Comments: Bing Art Doll, circa 1920. Value Points: fine original painted finish is perfectly preserved, wears factory original costume, and is rare to find.

Molded and painted faces with very dramatic eyes, rosy cheeks, original mohair wigs. Boy and Girl pair with original clothes, but girl has a lot of soil on arms, blouse and stockings, as though she might have gotten wet. Boy has a few moth holes on his felt outfit. Condition (Fair). Size Each: 10″ T.
